    Getaway driver in bank robbery gets time in halfway house

    The getaway driver in a bank robbery in Bexley last year was sentenced today to six months in a halfway house.

    U.S. District Judge Algenon L. Marbley sentenced Nathaniel Crews Jr., 20, of Caldwell Place to Alvis House.

    Crews pleaded guilty in August to conspiracy to defraud the United States and armed bank robbery.
